Summit Leon Ltd

Happy Sheep. Ethical Food. Community Fed.

Humanely raised lamb from a first-generation small farm in the East Mountains outside Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Learn About Our Farm

From Soil to Soul

Summit Leon was started in 2021 with a simple purpose: grow good food in a better way and share it with the people around us. We believe humane farming, healthy land, and local food security all belong in the same conversation.

Our lamb is raised with care in the East Mountains of New Mexico, where the animals have room to move, graze, and live well. That care is the foundation of everything we do — from the flavor of the meat to the way we show up for our neighbors.

What Summit Leon stands for

A small farm can still have a big purpose when animal care, food quality, and community all stay connected.

Humane husbandry

Pasture-raised sheep, thoughtful care, and a small-scale approach that treats animals with respect.

Local quality

High-quality New Mexico lamb for neighbors, families, chefs, and ethical buyers who care where their food comes from.

Community fed

A farm purpose built around feeding people, supporting local food security, and giving back close to home.

Sheep grazing in open pasture

Better lamb begins with better lives.

The quality of Summit Leon lamb starts long before it reaches a plate. It starts with how the sheep live: active, social, pasture-raised, and cared for as part of a real working farm.

That humane, direct approach offers a local alternative to anonymous commodity meat, with transparency and care built into every step.

Summit Leon exists to feed people — not just to sell product. The farm story includes local giving, food-security partnerships, and direct relationships with people in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe area.
